YOGA:
- Integrative Yoga Therapy is the foundation of my personal yoga practice and how I approach teaching. If you'd like to learn more about the IYT approach to yoga therapy, please read Joseph Le Page's article: What is Yoga Therapy?.
- If you are interested in learning more about Yin Yoga, I highly recommend Bernie Clark's website. It is truly the community forum for everyone involved in this exquisite practice. You can link to the training programs offered by my teachers, Sarah Powers and Paul and Suzee Grilley, and refer to the Teachers' Directory to find an instructor or class wherever you may be. You will find many resources in a variety of mediums to support your personal yin practice.
AYURVEDA:
- Banyan Botanicals is an excellent resource for finding organic, sustainably sourced, and fairly traded Ayurvedic products. You can determine your constitution (dosha) and any imbalance by taking their online tests, and learn more about how Ayurveda and Yoga may support your overall well-being.
- LifeSpa is Dr. John Douillard's Ayurvedic Retreat Center and Clinic in Boulder, CO. He is on the faculty of Kripalu's Ayurveda Lifestyle Consultant Program where I received my certifications in Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Yoga. His website is an excellent educational resource and his center carries a full line of Ayurvedic products. You can take tests to determine your constitution (dosha) and any imbalances, learn about recommended protocols, and subscribe to his e-newsletter.
